The airline Aeroflot has, since the beginning of June, increased the frequency of the flights it operates at Barcelona- El Prat Airport, as reported by Capitol Airline Services, the company which acts as General Sales Agent (GSA) air cargo for the Russian airline.
Aeroflot, since June 1, offers three daily flights between Barcelona and Moscow, while on Saturday the number of flights rises to four. The airline plans to keep these frequencies throughout the summer season, specifically until 29 September.
The flights, operated with an Airbus 321, Airbus 333 and B767, allow Capitol to market a load capacity of up to 14 tonnes per day (36 cubic metres) and up to 40 tonnes (110 cubic metres) on Saturdays.
Aeroflot flies from Barcelona to Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport (SVO), where, apart from serving the local economy, it offers interesting connections for cargo to the main business centres of Asia, most notably Hong Kong, Shanghai, New Delhi, Beijing, Seoul, Tokyo, Ho Chi Minh City and Guangzhou.
The company Capitol Airline Services, headquartered in Madrid-Barajas Airport, has a presence at the airports of Alicante, Barcelona, Bilbao, Malaga and Valencia, representing airlines such as Aeroflot, Syrianair, Finnair, Sky Gabon, Gulf Air or Malev, among others.
